Monthly Archives: November 2010
Mark Kozelek’s on the stereo, that means November is here.
Hey gang, The Jazz Age has been received very well since it’s June release. For anyone that enjoys the record, thank you for the support. For those that don’t, it’s okay, it will just take you a little longer. Here’s what some folks had to say:

We are going to be releasing an EP within the next couple months that we recorded with Steve Loree (These Things Happen) at his beautiful new studio ‘Crabapple Downs’ in Nanton AB. It’s 8 songs leaning more towards our pop, alt-country, folk sides. The two biggest sweethearts of the rodeo Joanne and Haley Myrol came down to do BG’s on the record as well as Mr Lance Loree laying down some Sneaky Pete’s pedal steel on a couple tracks. This will be available on vinyl in the near future as well as on I Tunes.
Life these days consists of me being a doughmaster at Pizza Hut in the day, Rick delivering flyers in the suburbs, and Mark is learning new rudiments/re-learning calculus. Time not spent at the above forementioned is spent in our studio Franktown working furiously on loads of new songs. I’m really excited with the direction these are going, it is a little different you might say than the rest of our catalogue.
We are playing some shows around Eastern Canada this December including a show December 8th at Katacombes in Montreal with Glen Matlock who was the original bassist for The Sex Pistols. All dates are in the show section.
Speaking of shows, our East coast tour in September was a blast. Special thanks the Charlottetown for the great show, Two Hours Traffic for hooking up the party, and for me ripping my fingernail off while loading the van the morning after the show. Nice. We’re heading to do another in mid January so keep yer eyes peeled.
Last but not least, we are happy to announce that we have confirmed a Daytrotter session for an Eastern Canada tour in February.
I also think everyone should check this out. I went in drag to work on halloween and I must have made a good impression.
